Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev won his initial title for nearly 30 months with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult period, managing just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the American major.
Medvedev's varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serving in especial - caused him exiting of the elite rankings and eventually separating with long-term mentor Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and his other coach, he has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over challenger Moutet.
It is the player's maiden championship following the Rome competition and maiden on a hard surface after spring of 2023.
The win also signifies he has secured twenty-one titles at twenty-one distinct competitions.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my both daughters together, so to get a championship is really nice," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my younger daughter her name, because the maiden victory I achieved when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his previous six finals, featuring in that event in the past months.
The player's defensive play style and regular outbursts on the playing surface had prompted observers to wonder if his skill to play at the highest level was concluded.
But the athlete has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, attempting to approach the net and perform aggressively, backed up by an better serve.
He recovered from a break down in the opening set against the difficult opponent, winning four of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players exchanged service breaks in the second set before the challenger, striving for his maiden professional championship, gained dominance to force a final set.
The opponent rescued 4 initial opportunities in a tight third set before the Russian broke to 15 to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched the win with a point at the net area, with Moutet incapable to control a return after over two and a half hours.
